December 2010 MAC Warehouse Sale and Haul

Last Sunday I went to the MAC Warehouse Sale and I must say that I was quite disappointed.  I was most saddened that they had raised the prices and there weren't any more buy 1 get 1 free deals.  Also the $3.00 table was no longer.  They now had a $4.000 table.  The layout of the rooms had also changed so I wasn't sure where everything was anymore.  At the end of the sale the free gift was a perfume sample and a pencil sharpener.  I was very disappointed by that.  Also, I opted to skip out on the charity packages as the product wasn't something I'd use anyway.  Anyhow, here's what I ended up with.  It's just a small haul that I ended up paying a lot for when it would usually be much less!  I guess you can say that I won't be going to the March sale.

Top: Sculpt & Shape Power in Bone Beige, Sculpting Powder in Definitive, Bronzing Powder in Bronze, Bronzing Powder in Golden, Lipglass in Perennial High Style, Cremesheen Glass in Looks Like Sin

Bottom: Eyeshadow Quad in Photo Realism, Falsies #41, Paint Pot in Moss Scape, Matte Creme,  Brushes #311 (x2) & #331 (x2)

IMATS Toronto 2010 & Haul

 L-R: Me, Fiona, Sheryl, Sandy

This year was my first year ever at IMATS. I went with my YouTube friends Fiona Man whom I've mentioned in past blog posts and Sheryl (Pincstuff on Youtube).  I also got to meet another Toronto YouTube Guru Sandy (aka: Sanderlees) whom i got to spend most of the day with.  Be sure to check out their vids on YouTube by clicking on their names!

I felt a little overwhelmed when I got there as there was so much to see and buy.  I was actually well behaved and only purchased what I thought I needed and made sure not to go over my budget.  Below are some pics of my adventures and what I ended up buying.

OCC Lip Tars of course were the rage.  Check out my full review here on Makeup Junkie !

Crown Brushes had sooo many brushes!  I wanted to buy some but figured I have a lot of these brushes already.  But the prices were so cheap and worth buying if you needed them.

Here's a pic of Elessa aka: Pursebuzz and Koren aka: EnkoreMakuep doing a giveaway in which Fiona won so many prizes!  Check out Fiona's haul and prizes that she won here!

Here's Fiona after she got her eye makeup done by Koren

Meeting Elessa (Pursebuzz) for the first time.  She's such a beauty and super nice too!
Check out Pursebuzz website here and her YouTube channel by clicking here.

Elessa (Pursebuzz) and me meeting Koren (EnkoreMakeup) for the first time.  Love him!
Check out his website here and YouTube Channel here.

One of the highlights of my day was attending Kandee Johnson's Q & A.  And right after I got to meet her at her meet n greet!  She really is as sweet in person as she is on the camera.  We briefly talked about our baby bellies :)

 Check out Kandee's blog here.
And if you haven't seen any of her YouTube vids I highly recommend checking her out here.

Crazy lineup to see Kandee!  I was lucky to be #5 in line! :)

Kandee's mom and I.  They could pass for sisters!  She's just as sweet as Kandee :)
And finally here's my little haul...

Embryolisse Creme Lait, Face Atelier Foundation in #6 Honey, Royal & Langnickel Concealer brushes and lash comb, Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tar in Clear, Roque Cozette (Kett Cosmetics) Tumblers for my makeup kit (got a free bag too!)

Looking forward to next years IMATS!

Update on Me

Hey Everyone!

I just wanted to say hello and update you all on me and my blog.  Sorry I've been MIA for a really long time.  The reason being is that I'm expecting a new addition to my family and I've been battling morning sickness.  I hope everyone is doing well.

Belly Art and Reginald Basit Photography

A few weeks ago I attempted to do something I've never done before.  I've always been a lover of art and I was fortunate to paint the belly of my pregnant friend Sarah.  I was unsure of what I wanted to do so I came up with the idea of flowers.  But not just your ordinary flower.  Since Sarah is of Filipino and Chinese heritage I decided to do two flowers that represented both flowers.  The Sampaguida (Filipino) and the Chinese Plum Blossom.  Check out some pics below of the belly art as well as Sarah's makeup.  Photo's are by talented photog Reginald Basit Photography.

NYC Haul: SEPHORA, MAC and INGLOT

Hey Everyone!  It's been a while since I posted a haul but I thought I'd share with you what I purchased in NYC this past weekend.  I didn't get much at Sephora and MAC since I can get most items here in Canada.  I did however got to go to Inglot which I believe you can get here in Canada but only in Montreal.  If you haven't heard of Inglot they are a store worth checking out.  I will do a more in depth review in the future.  I'm still testing out the goodies!  Check out some pics below of my haul and the Inglot store.

Hey Everyone!  Sorry I've been a little behind on posts.  Here's a little haul from the MAC Warehouse Sale.  I went to the sale on Saturday. Read my previous post about how the sale works here.  I must say that the sale is not as good as it used to be.  But I did manage to get a few goodies. I didn't bother getting any charity packages as I didn't really like what I saw.  But check out what I did manage to get:
False Lashes: #45 and Blinking Cool

Pretty Pattern Lip Glass, Lilaccrush Lipgelee, Sapilicious Lipgelee, Lip Conditioner

Cleanse Off Oils
Heavenly Dish Neutral Lip Kit, Devoted Poppy:3 Coral Lips, Pressed By Pink Lip Kit
Painterly Paint Pot, Just a Pinch Gel Cheek Stain
Medium/Natural and Shimmer Mineralize Skinfinish, Earth to Earth Mineralize Blush (this was the free gift at the end of the sale)
Clear Clinique makeup bags
Brushes: MAC 225 and MAC 249
That is all!  Bye for now! :)
